This lovely Victorian had many upgrades over the years; however, what it lacked was a cohesive furniture layout and space design. Once the editing was complete and the furniture genre chosen; the result was an open, fresh and inviting environment where family and guests commented on living more comfortably.

Small cottages often rely on outdoor spaces to expand their lifestyle options. While this cottage had a front screened porch, the option of creating more privacy was decidedly important. After adjusting the driveway to include a newly designed patio, the result was a perfect second dining area right outside the kitchen door that allowed for entertaining and outdoor privacy.

We at FINE DESIGN approach redesign with respect for the architectural elements of every space, genres of décor desired and an understanding of utilizing modern, classical or timeless furnishings and art with up-to-date textiles, paint colors and quality materials.

Our redesign service provides the same complimentary bids as we do in staging. Once we have done measurements, photos and determined the size and scope of the project; we prepare a presentation of recommendations for determining a budget.

We offer Basic, Middle of the Road and Luxury Status options as well as a 4th option that includes a Save and Splurge approach. All our options are specific to the objectives and goals of the home owner or business owner’s needs.

Once a package has been selected, the contract signed and 1st payment collected; we begin the design and communicate via an interactive design website. We also offer the option of meeting in person at our office at 750 Main Street or on location. Once the design is approved, we coordinate the project by ordering materials as well as furniture, furnishings and art. Next, we coordinate all installations, painting, deliveries and everything necessary to establish completion of the project. Finally, we receive final payment and go on location to determine clean up and acceptance of finished project.

    A property walk-through to determine size and scope of staging recommendations related not only to upgrades to be made in the house and on the property via a Staging Consultation, but also to take before photos and determine what services might best fit the home owners/builder’s/investors goals and what an estimate of the time and cost will be to consult or stage the property.
  • Staging and Color Consultations

    A consultation which includes recommendations addressing:

    Occupied or Vacant Staging
    • ~Unfinished repairs
    • ~Solutions to developing a spacious appearance in all areas of the house including main rooms, closets, cabinets, pantries, utility rooms, garage and outbuilding which features the properties assets
    • ~Recommended upgrades related to the demographics and the condition of the property
    • ~Assessment of furniture and furnishings needed to create buyer’s appeal whether it’s very little with the occupied home owners having items already up-to-date or a vacant property which requires the minimum of primary rooms staged
    • ~Info on preparing the property for staging, details of what Staging for Real Estate Sales entails, communication with realtor and consideration of time frame necessary for Open House Events
    • ~A printed report with all the recommendations either at the end of the consultation or sent in the mail within 2 business days depending on the circumstance
    A consultation which includes the practical and technical approach to bringing updated color palettes into the existing living environments, options for determining new wall colors in special areas such as primary rooms which have difficult fixed elements to work with or offices which need updating, staging color consultations for neutralizing property colors that are out-of-date, and options for working with events environments.

    Samples are provided of colors of choice for each room determined (if not the same) and larger paint samples provided (if using Sherwin Williams paint) at no extra charge. A handout on the “Power of Color” and notes on discussions during the consultations.

  • Rental and For Purchase Packages
    We offer an assortment of rental packages that are affordable, DIY “Staging by Room” packages for purchase as well as design and shopping services via your own access to our design website where we charge a design fee per room for Staging for 4-Season Living, Staging for Business, Office and Store environments.
  • Staging and Destaging Services
    Our services are your peace-of-mind. Nothing can be as overwhelming as preparing a property for sale and to move. As competent individuals, most of us have the skills to do much of the work; however, few of us have the time.

    FINE DESIGN STAGING offers a preferred partner referral list of professionals who can ready your property with handyman items and repairs, painting and construction, organizing and packing, house and window cleaning should any of these services be required outside of the home owner’s time frame.

    Once the house has been made ready for staging’s showcasing, we come in for half a day or longer for bigger square footage homes and create room environments that highlight the home’s lifestyle elements and feature the property’s assets. If furniture and/or furnishings has been rented, we schedule those pieces to arrive on the day of showcasing and we set up everything to be ready for the Open House.

    After we have confirmation of the property being sold and we agree that the sale is final; we schedule to immediately retrieve all rental items and leave the home ready for moving.
